My practice is primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration, business and commercial law, and real estate. My practice includes preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. I assist executors and families with the probate process and winding up an estate after a friend or family member dies. I can help you start up a new business or purchase an existing business, which may include preparing or reviewing an employee handbook.
A very important part of my practice involves serving as a guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults, which means accepting court appointments to help elderly individuals who may need assistance due to concerns regarding capacity. I can also assist a person who needs to petition for guardianship or conservatorship of a friend or family member who has diminished capacity due to dementia, Alzheimer’s, or some other disability.
